Using the parent portal

The parent portal is free and needs no password.

Signing in

1. When your school invites you, you receive an email with a secure link.
2. Clicking it signs you in with a one-time magic link, no password to remember. You can also ask for a fresh link yourself on the parent sign-in page.
3. Use the EN | FR switch at the top of every portal page to read it in English or French. Your choice is remembered, and the sign-in email you ask for follows it.

Your children

If you have more than one child linked to your email, use the child switcher at the top to move between them. Each child has a This week card that sums up the week at a glance; where the school shares in-term progress, it also shows how many days your child was present this week.

Report cards, fee bills and receipts

You can download your child's report cards and fee bills as PDFs, and where the school has enabled it, tap Pay now to pay by card or mobile money.

Under each bill you see its payment history: the date, method, amount and receipt number of every payment the school has recorded, with a button to download that payment's receipt as a PDF. A payment the school has cancelled is not listed, and the school's internal notes on a payment are never shown.

Contacting the school

Each child's page shows the school's contact card: the phone number, email address and postal address the school has recorded.

Progress during the session

Where the school switches on in-term progress, you also see:

• the subject marks recorded so far this session, clearly labelled provisional. A school that grades by competency shows the descriptor its report card prints (for example Proficient) instead of a mark;
• your child's quiz scores, only for quizzes whose results the teacher has released. You see your own child's mark and the total, never the answers and never another pupil's score;
• attendance detail: the days your child was marked absent, late or excused, for classes that keep a daily register.

Absences

You can also request an upcoming absence from the portal. We email you a confirmation when you submit it, and again when the school approves or declines it (with any note they add), and you always see the current status in the portal, with the dates in your language. If your number is on file, you may also receive SMS reminders and absence alerts.

Who can collect your child

Where the school uses pickup security, you can add, edit and remove the people allowed to collect your child. See Who can collect your child.
