Keeping student records safe

How iEasySR protects sign-in with email codes, where your data lives, and how you can export all of it on demand.

Student records are sensitive: scores, guardians, payment details. iEasySR treats that seriously, from how you sign in to where the data lives and how you get it back out.

A stronger sign-in

Every account signs in with a password of at least eight characters, or with Google. On top of that, email-based multi-factor authentication is on by default: after your password is verified, we email a six-digit code to your account address and ask you to enter it. This stops anyone who steals your password from getting in without also having your email.

You can turn MFA off in Settings or on your Profile, but because it protects a great deal, disabling it asks for your current password as a step-up and signs you out on every device for safety. We strongly recommend leaving it on.

Where your data lives

It helps to know exactly where records are kept. iEasySR is the data controller, a company registered in Australia. Your account, school, student and payment records sit in a managed PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon in the United Kingdom, London region. The application runs on Vercel, uploaded files such as logos and signatures are stored on Vercel Blob, and card payments are handled by Stripe, so card numbers are never stored by us. Full details, including sub-processors, are in the Privacy Policy.

Emailing a child's data safely

Reports and fee bills carry a child's scores and payment details, so iEasySR refuses to email them to an address a parent has not confirmed. The verification link is single-use, expires, and is bound to the exact email it was issued for, which stops a mistyped address from ever receiving a child's data.

Your data, exportable on demand

From Settings then Export your data, you can download a ZIP of all your own schools' records: one CSV per area plus a README and a manifest. Because it holds personal data, the download is step-up protected: you enter your password and a one-time code we email you, it only ever contains your own data, and it is rate-limited. Keep it as a backup, or use it to migrate elsewhere.

Security here is not a setting you hunt for. It is the default.
