Scholarships and billable services

A school's fees are rarely just tuition. There is the canteen, the bus, boarding, uniforms, a PTA levy, a handful of clubs, and the concessions you grant certain families. iEasySR handles both the extras and the discounts so that each bill is complete without manual patching.

Billable services beyond tuition

Bus and canteen are built in, and you can create any other service under Fees then Services: boarding, uniform, a PTA levy, clubs, whatever your school charges for. Each service is either Options, where families pick a priced choice, or Flat, a single amount, and it can allow more than one option per pupil, handy for several clubs at once.

Every service integrates into fees exactly like bus and canteen: billed under its own heading, collected in the Services Portal, and its arrears carried forward. To subscribe a whole class at once, use the Bulk-assign a service card at the top of the class fee page.

Collecting on the move

The Services Portal is a fast, phone-friendly page for taking bus and canteen money anywhere: on the bus, at the gate, on the run. Search a pupil, tap Collect, take the amount, and a numbered receipt is issued instantly. Crucially, the fee bill is the single source of truth, so whether a family pays here or through normal fee collection, the Portal reflects both and you can never double-collect.

Scholarships that apply themselves

Define an award once per pupil under Fees then Scholarships, and iEasySR applies it automatically, every term, as a discount on that pupil's bill. No re-keying each session. Each award is a percentage or a fixed amount off, and you choose whether it applies to the whole bill or to a single category such as Tuition only. This is the central place for bursaries and recurring concessions like sibling discounts.

Because the award is re-derived on every bill, the discount line is read-only in the bill drawer. To change or end it, you edit the award, not the bill.
