Offline that actually works: the six-tab mode for no signal

Plenty of apps claim to work offline. Most mean they do not crash. iEasySR means something stronger: a teacher can take a whole register, a cashier can collect a day of fees, and the office can enrol a walk-in pupil, all with no signal at all, and nothing is lost.

The connection is optional, the work is not

If the internet drops while you are working, the everyday data-entry screens carry straight on. Attendance and the daily register, score entry (including blind marking and the conduct score), fee and service collection, and adding or enrolling a student all keep saving to the device. A small status pill in the corner shows how many changes are waiting to sync.

Six tabs, opened cold

Sometimes there is no signal even to open the app. For that there is a dedicated Offline mode, reachable from the sidebar or from the status pill when you lose signal. It cold-opens with zero connection and gives you six tabs:

• Attendance and Daily register, to take term attendance or mark the day.
• Scores, to enter marks (the conduct score lives here too).
• Fees, to record a payment against a bill.
• Services, to collect a bus, canteen or custom-service fee.
• Enrolment, to register a walk-in pupil (New) or enrol an existing one (Existing) into a class.

A pupil you register or enrol appears in the class register right away, ready to be marked present. Everything syncs when you reconnect.

One tap to prepare

While you still have a connection, open Offline mode and tap Prepare for offline once. In a single step it caches this term's classes, bills and the school roster onto the device, so later, with no signal, you can open any class, any bill, and enrol any existing pupil, without having visited each one first. It is the difference between hoping the right page was cached and knowing it was.

A receipt in the payer's hand

Collecting fees offline should never leave a parent empty-handed. When you record a payment with no connection, tap Print provisional receipt to hand over a printable slip on the spot (or save it as PDF). It is clearly marked provisional and carries a reference the payer can quote later. The moment your device syncs, the server issues the official, numbered receipt, and the provisional slip reconciles to it.

Safe with a whole team at the gate

Offline does not mean chaos when several people collect at once. Fee receipt numbers are issued by the server, in order, as each payment syncs, so they are always sequential and never duplicated, even across several cashiers. Each offline payment carries a one-time key, so a payment sent twice on a weak line is still recorded only once, with no double-charge. Different classes, different subjects and fee collection are all safe for many people at the same time. For one class's register on a given day, have a single person mark it offline, since with no signal the devices cannot coordinate; when you are back online, the app warns you if someone else changed a class since you opened it.

What still needs a connection

Offline is built for classroom and cash-desk data entry, which is exactly where a dropped line hurts most. Generating report cards and other PDF or CSV reports, the statutory returns, finance and payroll calculations, the mobile-money reconciliation queue, the Conseil de classe deliberation, iAlex and iLex+, and the admin and settings screens all reach the server, so those stay online.

Install it like an app

Add iEasySR to your phone or laptop home screen and it opens in its own window, which is the most reliable way to cold-start with no signal. On a shared device, signing out clears the cached data so the next person never sees your records, while any change still waiting to sync is kept. Flaky internet should not cost you a class's work or a day's collection, and here it does not.
