A tour of the Reports hub
One place gathers every report in the app and shows only the sections your role can open. Here is what is inside.
Reports used to be scattered across the app. Now there is one hub. Reports sits near the bottom of the sidebar, just above Settings, and gathers every report in one place, showing only the sections your role is allowed to open.
What is inside
The hub groups reports by the part of school life they serve:
- Report cards: generate, browse, download and email termly cards.
- Scores: broadsheets, rank sheets, transcripts, grade distribution, the at-risk list and lesson coverage.
- Attendance: class and school registers, defaulters and blank sheets.
- Students and school admin: lists, ID cards, the admissions register and the guardian directory.
- Fees and collections: statements, receipts, aged debtors, defaulter letters and service registers.
- Accounting and finance, with the Finance module: financial statements, general ledger, account schedules, chart of accounts, mappings, accounts-payable aging, budget and forecast.
- Staff and HR, with the Staff module: staff directory, payroll register, leave register, timesheet and workplaces.
- Insights: analytics across your schools.
Role-gating you can trust
A cashier does not see payroll, and a teacher does not see the ledger. The hub only ever shows the sections your role can access, so people find what they need without stumbling into what they should not. The module-gated groups, accounting and staff, appear once those modules are unlocked.
Getting to a report quickly
Search at the top to jump straight to a report by name instead of scanning the list. Finance and HR reports open on screen, and you save them with your browser's Print command, which produces a clean PDF. Several finance statements also offer a branded, ready-made PDF download with charts and short explainers. For class and fee admin there is a printable one-page catalogue a click away.
