How marks become report cards: the assessment families, entering scores, generating and laying out the cards, and the other documents you can produce.
Assessment families
An assessment system belongs to a family that decides how marks combine. Aggregate is the anglophone WAEC / BECE style, best-of-N aggregates and grade bands. Average is the francophone moyenne on a /20 scale with per-subject coefficients. Competency maps each subject's percentage to a standards-based performance descriptor.
Each system also sets the grading bands, the pass mark and the class-work / exam split, so the same marks produce the result your curriculum expects.
Entering scores
Score a class subject by subject in a grid, or round-trip a spreadsheet: download the class sheet, fill it, upload it back. Scores are entered per (class, subject, session), and blind-marking hides names behind exam numbers while you mark.
Generating report cards
Generate report cards for a whole class in one click. You see the exact price before you pay, and re-generating a card after fixing a mark is free. Each card can be viewed, downloaded or emailed in English or French, independently per document.
What's on the card
A card shows each subject's mark and grade with a per-subject class position, then the summary: the aggregate or the moyenne générale with its mention and the overall rang, attendance for the term, an optional conduct score, and, on the promotion session, the year-end decision (Admis / Redouble, with any conseil-de-classe override and jury points).
Report layout
The layout is configurable per school (or per class): which sections show, the header, signatures and the performance chart, all in your school's colour theme. A francophone bulletin defaults to French regardless of your account language.
Other documents
The same engine produces admission letters, student ID cards, and, with the School Suite, per-class certificates and envelopes, each on your school's branding and available in English or French.
