Daily attendance that counts

Attendance should be quick to take and impossible to lose. iEasySR gives you two ways to keep it, chosen per class and term, and both feed the report card automatically.

The daily register

Open Attendance then Daily, pick the class and term, and choose a date, today by default. Everyone starts as Present, so you simply flip the absentees to Absent, Late or Excused, then Save. That is the whole routine, a few taps a morning.

A "school day" is just any date you take a register, so weekends and holidays need no special handling. You only record the days you actually meet.

How it reaches the report card

The attendance line on each report card fills in on its own from the register. Present days count both Present and Late, and the total is that pupil's own number of register days. A child who joined mid-term is therefore measured fairly against the days they were actually enrolled, not the whole term.

The classic one-time totals

Prefer the traditional approach? Open Attendance, pick a class then a session, and type each pupil's present and total days once. Total days pre-fills from the session's term days, auto-calculated from the opening and vacation dates, and you can override per student. Either way, the figure flows onto the report card automatically.

Switch freely, keep everything

Saving a register switches that class and term to daily mode, and you can switch back to one-time totals at any time from the register. Your records are kept either way, so trying the daily register never puts existing totals at risk.

When you need a summary, the Class Attendance Summary report gives an A4 PDF of present and total days, percentage and a status band per pupil. For a class on the daily register the figures roll up automatically; otherwise they come from the one-time totals. There is also an attendance defaulters list to shortlist chronic absentees.

Take the register in the morning, and the term-end numbers are already done.
