One app, in English and French

iEasySR speaks English and French, and the choice is personal to each user rather than fixed for the whole school.

Pick your own language

Open Settings and use the language picker. The page reloads after switching, so the new language applies across the app. Because the setting is per user, each member of your team can work in the language they prefer, on the same school, at the same time. Your language sits alongside your other personal defaults, such as your current academic year, default school and theme.

Parent-facing documents follow you

Language is not only about the on-screen menus. The parent-facing PDFs render in your chosen language too: report cards, fee bills, receipts and parent statements all come out in the language you have set. That means a French-speaking family can receive a report card in French without you keeping a separate template.

For now, the internal admin reports (broadsheets, rosters and similar working documents) stay in English, since they are tools for staff rather than documents for families.

A bilingual front door

The choice starts before anyone signs in. The public website carries a language toggle, so a visitor can read about iEasySR in English or French and switch at any point. Whoever lands on the site meets it in a language they can read.

Why per-user matters

Schools are rarely all one language. A bursar might prefer French while a head teacher works in English, and both may serve families who read one or the other. Making language a personal setting, rather than a school-wide switch, lets everyone work comfortably without anyone overriding a colleague's preference.

Switching is reversible and instant: change it in Settings whenever you like, and the app, plus your parent-facing PDFs, follow along.
